  The beta of Steam 2.0 and Counter-Strike 1.6 was leaked. The steam content servers are still being worked on and that's why Steam is so slow.     Today I have been having problems connecting with steam, so I did my research. It seems like registration has been turned off for people who didn't register before 1-16-03. I also came to the conclusion that Steam Content Server 1 causes a lot of issues. Also, yesterday, platform.dll version 2 came out. This allowed a lot of people to play. The last bit of news i have is that Steam is getting more and more content servers which allows faster and easier access to Steam 2.0 and Counter-Strike 1.6
